Here you will find a list of publications for sale. All of
these we have produced ourselves or have had a major role in producing.

charges are shown individually for each item. If you live locally please
feel free to drop in to our shop, at the above address, and buy them
over
the counter -we're always pleased to see you.
We also have a selection of postcards and cards with envelopes
from 40p in the shop. These show old photographs of Edinburgh and it's
people mainly taken from our photographic archive. There are also some
small publications from 50p each.

Edinburgh Memories
This is a book of 127 pages. It is the unique and fascinating result of many conversatons and interviews with local people, recalling life in the city between the two world wars. Complied by the LMA , vivid memories are recounted, including childhood and schooldays, work and play, sport and leisure.

with Mrs Maria Pettigrew, Scotland's oldest person; memories of

Memories in Song
This is a VHS video of musical memories sung by people from Leith.
Songs include; 'Whip Ma Peerie', 'Ye Cannie Shove Yer Grannie Aff
The Bus' and 'Come Up An' See Ma Gorrit'. There are 14 songs altogether.
The songs are illustrated by over 150 old photographs of Edinburgh
and Leith. The video is approx. 20 minutes long. It is ideal for
bringing back memories.
